january

the last picture my camera ever took. At the karl marx house and museum there was a display of his written work translated into many different languages.

i live a block away from templehof airport. now closed, but a massive spot nonetheless. wiki it if you dont know the history. nice for sunsets. the sun only appears at angles in berlin in the winter. you never really see it, only reflections on tall building windows, in the distance, and then for a sweet setting beyond a chain link fence beyond a barren airstrip with large nationalistic architecture-to the right=

this building is old. porta negra. build by the romans. in a town called trier, the oldest town in germany. long time ago. i started buggin when i saw it, walked thru it, etc. then nina starts with" well its not as old as the ruins in italy, but then you go to italy an your all wow its old, but then the italians are all oh go to greece, their ish is mad old italy dont compare." and im like, damn that building is old, nonetheless.

nope, not ashfield. somewhere southwest of deutsche eck.

ninas brother wolfram was in town. he works with a woman who does accounting for german films. she's tight with wim wenders, among others. this party was cool. good bier and lachs. all of a sudden, nina and wolframs dad calls on the house phone. hilarious.

  1. so, you might be able to sell your camera on ebay , since obviously karl marx's spirit decided to make it his home. oh wait - that would be SUCH a capitalist move.
